Privacy Policy

znakai (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Telegram bot @astrologyaime_bot and the website astrologyai.me, which provide AI-generated astrology readings for entertainment. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and your rights.

1. What we collect in the bot

• Telegram account data — your Telegram user ID and chat ID, and the first name, last name, username, language and Premium status that Telegram shares with bots. We do not receive your phone number.
• Birth data — the date, time and place of birth you enter, the name and gender you choose to give, and the birth data of other people you enter for compatibility reports. Please only enter other people’s data if you are entitled to do so.
• Your questions and our readings — the questions you ask the AI astrologer and the readings and reports generated for you. We keep the most recent messages of your AI-astrologer conversation (up to 100) so it can continue.
• Interaction logs — the buttons you press, the messages you send and the bot’s replies, kept for up to 45 days to troubleshoot problems and improve the Service.
• Purchase records — amount, currency, date, status, the item bought and a payment identifier. We never receive or store full card details.
• E-mail for receipts — if you pay in Russian roubles through YooKassa (bank card, SBP or another method it offers), the e-mail address you give us for the fiscal receipt required by Russian law (54-FZ). We store it to issue later receipts and use it only for payment receipts.
• Referral data — if you joined through a referral link, which user referred you.

2. What we collect on astrologyai.me

• Free chart preview. If you use the free natal-chart form, the birth date, time, place, name and gender you enter are sent to our server (api.znakai.com) to compute the chart and generate the preview with an AI model (see section 4). Place names you type may be looked up with the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoder. We do not create an account from the form; we record the preview step with a random visitor identifier, the page and any campaign tag or ad-click identifier in the link, to measure how the site is used.
• Browser storage. The form stores that random visitor identifier (znk_anon) in your browser’s local storage, and the page notifies our server of the visit with the same identifier, page and campaign tag.
• Cookie banner. When you first open astrologyai.me, a banner asks whether we may use Yandex Metrica with session recording. Metrica (including Webvisor) is loaded, and its cookies are set, only after you click Accept. If you click Decline, or do not choose, Metrica is not loaded and the site works the same. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage (znk_cookie_consent), so the banner does not ask again on every page. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, the banner deletes the Metrica cookies and browser-storage entries (names starting with _ym) that astrologyai.me can access and reloads the page, so Metrica stops.
• Yandex Metrica (only if you accept). Yandex Metrica is a web analytics service provided by Yandex; on astrologyai.me it runs with session recording (Webvisor). Metrica sets cookies (such as _ym_uid and _ym_d) and uses similar browser storage to distinguish visits. It records the pages you view, the referring page, your device, browser and screen type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, clicks (click map) and clicks on outgoing links (including clicks that open our Telegram bot), and — through Webvisor — how you scroll, move the pointer and interact with the page, which may include what you type into forms on the page. Yandex processes this data under its Privacy Policy. Besides the banner, you can also block cookies in your browser or use the Yandex Metrica opt-out add-on.
• Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

We do not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels on astrologyai.me.

3. How we use it

To compute your chart and generate readings; to manage your credit balance and deliver purchased reports; to send you the daily horoscope you asked for; to issue receipts and handle refunds; to answer support requests; to prevent abuse of free features and referral bonuses; and to understand which features are used. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising profiles. We process data to provide the Service you request, to meet legal obligations (receipts and accounting) and, for logs and usage statistics, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the Service. Yandex Metrica on the website runs only with your consent, given in the cookie banner (section 2).

4. AI processing

To generate a reading we send the necessary inputs — chart positions, the birth details needed for them, your question and your language — to AI model providers (for example, OpenAI) through the OpenRouter API gateway. They process this data to return the generated text. We do not send payment data to AI providers.

5. Service providers

• Telegram — the platform you use the bot through, and the processor of Stars payments (Telegram Privacy Policy).
• Dodo Payments — merchant of record for card payments in US dollars. Your card and billing details are collected by Dodo Payments under its Privacy Policy. To open a checkout we send Dodo Payments the order details, your Telegram user and chat IDs and a technical e-mail-style identifier derived from your user ID (not your real e-mail address); we receive the payment status, amount, currency and a payment identifier.
• YooKassa — payment processor for payments in Russian roubles (bank card, SBP or another method it offers); it also issues the fiscal receipt to the e-mail you provide. Card details are entered on YooKassa’s side; we receive the payment status, amount and a payment identifier.
• OpenRouter and AI model providers — generate reading texts (see section 4).
• Yandex — website analytics and session recording (see section 2); OpenStreetMap Nominatim — place-name lookup.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — run our servers and database; the website is served by Cloudflare.

These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the European Union, the United States and Russia.

6. Retention and deletion

Account data (Telegram data, birth data, language, balance, generated readings) is kept while your account is active. Interaction logs are deleted after 45 days. Purchase records and receipt e-mails are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. To delete your data, write to [email protected] or to @znakaicom in Telegram; we remove it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw your consent to website analytics at any time (the Cookie settings link), and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can update your birth data at any time with the /profile command in the bot. Write to [email protected] or @znakaicom.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we hold data of a child under 13, we delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the current version, and significant changes are announced in the bot.
